Jimmy Thrasher is a CFO for a Regional Fire Protection Company serving the Southeast United States. Jimmy is also an ordained minister with over 43 years of experience, has dedicated his life to evangelism, missions, public speaking, performing arts, podcasting, and music ministry. His ministry journey spans from Texas to North Carolina and even the West Indies, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Alongside his wife, Melissa, he co-hosts the Jimmy & Melissa Thrasher Podcast Show. As a 3-time #1 Christian/Positive Country Songwriter and Producer, Jimmy also leads the music company Thrasher Sound, LLC.

After the loss of my wife Beth, God intervened by bringing Jimmy Thrasher into my life. Jimmy Thrasher is a graduate of Muscle Shoals State Technical College, now Shoals Community College, where he earned a degree in Electricity. He is also a NICET III Certified Engineering Technician specializing in Fire Alarms. Jimmy began his career in the Life Safety and Electronic Security Industry over 40 years ago, starting as a helper performing basic tasks like crawling through attics and under floors to pull wire. Despite not holding a four-year degree in business or accounting—and with only high school-level accounting classes—he worked his way up to become CFO of a regional fire protection company serving the southeastern United States. Jimmy is often asked how a field technician with a two-year electrical degree rose to an executive leadership role, a question he frequently addresses as he shares his story to inspire and encourage others pursuing career growth.
